Last week I got my alignment done on my car. I knew it was off and it was driving me nuts. What a difference it makes when you don’t have to constantly be adjusting for the misalignment! It was a nice reminder of how important it is to work on our own alignment in all areas of our life.
When our spine isn’t aligned, it causes discomfort in our body. We can choose to ignore the discomfort, adjusting the way we do things to minimize the pain, or we can choose to go to a chiropractor. Many of us don’t even know that this misalignment is the cause of the physical symptoms we’re experiencing. Once we know and do something about it, we’re back to our old selves.
When we aren’t aligned with our purpose, we are miserable. We feel like something’s missing in our lives. Regardless of any success we have achieved, it doesn’t fulfill us. We’re constantly looking for things to bring us that joy and happiness we yearn for and remain disappointed. For some of us, aligning with our purpose seems to happen magically – she was born to do that! For others, it’s a bit more challenging.
Life’s responsibilities, cultural beliefs and family expectations often make it difficult to surrender to our purpose. Sometimes living our purpose requires sacrifice. It requires us to take gigantic leaps outside our comfort zone. It challenges us to surrender and be open to all of the possibilities and opportunities that life has to offer.
When we are in alignment in mind, body and soul we are operating at our optimum. We are not pulled into unnecessary drama and we are not discouraged by disappointments. No matter what is happening around you, you are good. You are fulfilled and grateful for the blessing of life. Being aligned allows us to flow with life instead of feeling life is a constant struggle. Who doesn’t want that?
The great news is that you don’t have to figure out how to align with your purpose on your own! If you are ready to connect with your purpose, I can help. Click this link to book your complimentary 30-minute Discovery Session.
